Originally I was looking to be hired as a developer, but because I was not yet at the level of their other developers, I was hired as a QA. The process was very quick.
The first interview was just asking about my experience in ASP.NET/C# and Databases. Asked a bunch of technical questions from the Lead Developer and their Sr. Developer. Ones that I was not sure about I answered to the best of my ability and asked what the answer was (load/unload of a page goes through what functions was one question) and took notes showing that I was open to growth.
The second interview was a more general "lets get to know you and what you bring to the table". They had me review some simple code to see what my competency with code was. Also for this interview they brought in their CoS and reviewed all my documentation from a project I have done previously and just general Q&A, nothing too difficult.
While I was in another interview for another company, I received a phone call from HR asking if I have any questions about the benefits package. Generally this comes AFTER the offer call, but I got it before which threw me off. However it was very exciting at the same time. While I was driving home, that is when I received the offer call for the QA position and accepted.
