Did a phone screening then went in for an in person interview at their Glendale, Az location. A couple days later I was asked to submit a writing sample of an IT Risk Assessment to get a feel for my writing style. I spent the next couple days working hard on the assessment and submitted it back to the hiring manager. Then radio silence despite many follow-ups. Finally 9 months later I received an automated rejection email.

The initial interview was with an HR person via Teams to find out my objectives and background, No technical questions were asked at the time. It was a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere.
