Question 1
Explain a time that your manager provided feedback that caught you off guard.
Pretty standard, screening interview, in person hiring manager interview. Asks a lot of situational questions about you would handle managing doctors and selling to them. Asks about experience and specific sales you have made in the past

Question 1
What is your five year career goal? And why do you want to work for Align?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Align Technology in Oct 2024
Interview
I applied through LinkedIn. The process took 9 weeks. There were three stages:
Stage 1: Teams interview with HR recruiter.
Stage 2: Interview at head office in Solihull with manager. I had to prepare three presentations for this, which took many hours of work to prepare.
Stage 3: Teams interview with Senior Manager and HR.
Throughout the second stage interview, there was a lot of talk of targets, numbers and spreadsheets, which set off warning bells with me. The sales numbers spreadsheet is live and appears to be constantly watched and scrutinized by management. I was told that there would be a weekly territory planning meeting with my manager on Mondays. I sensed that this would soon start triggering Sunday evening anxiety with me.
In the third stage interview, the manager told me straight off that he was very ambitious. There was again heavy emphasis on hitting targets, sales numbers, tracking your sales, territory manager league tables and minimum daily call rates.
I didn't receive an offer, but I was looking for a company that I could stay with long term, and I wasn't confident enough in my mind that Align was the one.
