Went through the interview process for a leadership role only to be offered a completely different entry-level position at a significantly lower pay rate. The role I was interviewed for wasn’t the role they ultimately offered. Pay details were vague until directly asked, job description for the lesser role was not provided, and the experience overall felt disorganized, unfair, and dismissive. Candidates deserve clarity and respect throughout the hiring process.
