Response from my resume submission was quick as were the following phone interviews. Then I had a Skype interview with two people that were a half hour each. From there I was asked to fly in for in person interviews. These were rescheduled because the person who I would have been reporting to was traveling that day. I volunteered to drive 1.5 hours to the closest airport they flew out of in order to save them money. Gave up my Sunday afternoon to drive to the airport and interviewed Monday. The guy the interview was rescheduled to accommodate was not there and had changed his plans to fly out that day. I interviewed with somebody who was obviously looking at my resume for the first time and we had to change conference rooms during the interview because we had gone into the wrong one. Then interviewed with two accountants. Nothing out of the ordinary and all questions had been previously addressed. I sent a thank-you email from the airport and heard nothing from them for over a week. I sent a second email to the HR recruiter I had been working with asking if there had been any status updates and never received a response. So I missed two days of work and drove 150 miles and now 3 months later I still haven't received a response to my email s or even a generic thank you, but we have decided to go another way. Disappointing and unprofessional.
