I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services in Nov 2022
Interview
I had a recruiter reach out to me and I had a 30 min call with the hiring manager who moved me to a SQL round. The second interview was with a BI engineer. I was told that this would be a technical SQL round, but this guy said that they were having technical difficulties, so this would be a behavioral round instead. I thought that was really unprofessional and weird. It was supposed to be a screen share on Amazon chime, so I am not sure what kind of technical difficulties they had and I felt like I should have been given some kind of notice about the change in an interview type

5 rounds - first round involved a phone interview but position was frozen so I didn't get through to the second round. However, they did send a pre-read doc and encouraged me to read up on the Amazon principles and create answers aligned to relevant principles to the role .
