Interview
The interview process included both behavioural and technical questions, following the classic Amazon style, consisting of three separate interview rounds, concluding with a final intense five-hour session that was quite exhausting, although not particularly difficult.

Interview
Highly technical. All questions were technical. AWS brags about its leadership principles and asks you to prep accordingly—however, not a single question is related to them. It just tells you that it's just corporate PR.
The interviewer showed up wearing a T-shirt and a baseball hat backward. I understand the dress code at AWS is casual, but don't show up like you walked out of the gym and started the interview. It was highly unprofessional.

Question 1
All questions were technical related to the Data center facility and design. No question was asked regarding Amazon's leadership principle.

Interview
I recently interviewed for the Mechanical Design Engineer, Data Center Design Engineering role at Amazon, and overall, it was a positive experience. The interview was very technical and focused primarily on data center design and fundamental HVAC principles.
The questions were thorough and ranged from detailed aspects of mechanical design to specific scenarios related to data center operations. I appreciated the depth of the technical questions as it allowed me to showcase my expertise and problem-solving skills. However, it's worth noting that the interview lacked behavioral questions, which was a bit surprising. It was strictly technical from start to finish.
While I didn't receive an offer, I found the experience to be a valuable opportunity to test my skills and knowledge in a high-stakes environment. If you're preparing for a similar role at Amazon, I recommend brushing up on your data center design knowledge and HVAC fundamentals, as these will be the main focus areas.
