I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (Berlin) in Jun 2024
Interview
1. Application & Online Assessment
- Coding Challenge (HackerRank or similar)
Usually 2–3 problems in 90 minutes.
Difficulty: medium-level data structures and algorithms (LeetCode Easy–Medium).
- Work Simulation & Workstyle Assessment
Situational judgment test with scenarios mapped to Amazon’s Leadership Principles.
Personality-style questionnaire about work habits and preferences.
2. Phone / Virtual Technical Screen
- One or two 45–60 minute interviews:

I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (New York, NY)
Interview
I applied around January 2025 and got an OA shortly after. From my memory it took around 2 hrs to complete. I got an interview loop invite around sometime in May and then in Early June I had 3 back-to-back interviews and got the offer a week later.

Question 1
Behavioral questions that tie to their leadership principles
It was okay. Took the whole day but they really communicated everything WELL. It was a design question, coding problems after coding problems then the merge sort or tree traversal question.
I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (Seattle, WA)
Interview
It tested highly on system design, understanding of infrastructure, distributed systems, and data structures and algorithms. Make sure to study LeetCode and make sure you know your system design. Thanks so much.

Question 1
LeetCode question about arrays and hashing (medium - hard)
