I applied in-person. I interviewed at American Apparel (New York, NY)
Interview
I came in for an open call and there were other applicants. Everyone was well dressed as was I. The manager was the one that interviewed me and it was pretty well and chiil. I got a call back for a second interview and it went well. Apparently they're only hiring skinny looking people that can fit their clothes so it's basically like applying as a model and sales associate because you have to wear their clothes. Which sucked when i found that out.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at American Apparel (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2016
Interview
Come in, they look at you, if you look the part then you pretty much got it. I'm not particularly attractive, but they do have to find you attractive. It was really difficult because the interview was around 2 minutes so a lot of good info about you can go unheard because of how short it is
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What I could bring to the table, and my availability, but they mainly just looked at me and the AA clothes I was wearing.
