Story of getting no offer after getting Positive feedback in all rounds (Strong Yeses in Technical Rounds).
As seen in the past reviews here, they did take a lot of time to process/respond between each round. Definitely, they don't have a defined process or skills for hiring.
The First Round was a screening round, they postponed the first round after a week all of a sudden.
Next week again Interviewer didn't join for 10 minutes because he wasn't aware of it!!
But they joined after following up with HR.
Then had 2 Technical Rounds (Coding and System Design). In the coding round, they did ask for Python code on the DSA (Simple one using stack). Then a few SQL questions (window functions based) and then a little bit on spark technicals.
The system design round was about architecting a pipeline as per a given requirement.
Last was the Behavioral Round. When I joined, he said he was not supposed to take this round, but he still took 30 minutes and told would get this round rescheduled!!
Later this round was rescheduled. Again interviewer didn't join on time, but he made it post a few minutes.
Questions were normal ones like what are your negatives/positives, and a few scenarios based on my earlier projects and challenging tasks.
Post this they ghosted!
After a week of reviewing I was told even though all rounds were positive they were not going ahead coz I didn't answer one question in the Behavioral round up to their expectation!
I respect the decision, but the interview process also had so many flaws that they couldn't fix but they expected the candidate to be flawless. Crazy!
