HR reached out to me on Linkedin telling me about the Pricing Analyst role. Had 2 phone interviews, then was invited for an in-person interview in which the manager of FP&A was there as well. The manager stated that an analyst from FP&A was applying to the Pricing Analyst role and if they got it that group woul have an opening. So I take it at this point I am being considered for both roles now. I ended up reaching out to HR to follow-up after 3 weeks of not hearing anything. I was informed that I was still being "potentially considered for other opportunities and they are waiting to hear back on a few different options". Then she asked if I had any updates on my end in which I did not. Another 2 weeks goes by so I reach out again and finally getting response that I was not chosen for the Pricing Specialist role in which I knew nothing about because had I known I would have told them no as that was not in my salary range. What a waste of time and ultimate let down to say no you are not only qualified for the Analyst role but not the Specialist role either!
