The interview was scheduled though an HR representative. HR provided transparent information on the position I applying for and after asking questions about my preferences, offered the additional option to interview for the ACCS Recovery Specialist position within the agency. I was interviewed for this position by one of the ACCS Assistant Program Directors, who after explaining that I was applying for a role on a newly-established, secondary ACCS team, invited in a supervisor from the original ACCS program to help explain the position better and answer any questions. The interview was comfortable, casual, and conversational. Humor and positive feedback were used to put me at ease. The interviewer was quick to reach out afterward and offer the position.
