I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Audacy (Los Angeles, CA) in Sep 2024
Interview
Weirdest process of my life. From start to finish, the interview process alone was extremely disorganized and hectic. I was told multiple things during the interview process that turned out to not be true. At one point when I met with the President of Audacy, the manager overseeing my entire hiring process couldn't even recall which number interview I was on. The lack of organization meant that formal interviews and informal interviews often blurred together, and I was asked the same questions by the same manager overseeing my interview process over multiple interviews. Despite all the madness, I was extended a verbal offer conditional upon my professional references, which I tentatively accepted. Two weeks go by, with no reach out to my references. When they inform me that they haven't heard from the company, I reach out to the same manager. She immediately calls me, and lets me know they are "freezing" the position because training is not where they would like it to be. After that, complete radio silence. I would NOT recommend this company to any prospective sales members for the Los Angeles office. They are very clearly still disorganized after bankruptcy filing in 2/2024, and haven't gotten their sea legs. I'm grateful I ended up accepting another offer with a different company.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Audacy (Portland, OR) in May 2025
Interview
Four stage interview process. I was invited back for a final step of meeting several of the other AEs before a potential offer. I had told the recruiter on the FIRST call that my absolute minimum base pay was $75k and that was just for consideration. On my second and third interviews I was told they needed to check with corporate on pay and would get back to me.
So the morning of my final I still had not heard anything about base or OTE and reached out to the hiring manager to ask directly.. it was a 50k max base pay and OTE was 100k which is 50% below my stated requirement. I wasted three interviews and a personality test. That whole experience in retrospect is full of red flags.
Run away.
