Anonymous Interview Candidate
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Avidbots in Sep 2021
Interviews over Zoom, very chill. Three rounds of interview, all one on one. First interview was basic screening, second was almost philosophical, third was "what can you bring to this role". I withdrew myself to accept another offer.
- How can you "gameify" the user experience?

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I interviewed at Avidbots
It was a nice interview with the team leader via Google Meet, but the questions made were not about the robot or the company but about another different stuff. It was very frustrating and felt like they already had the people pre-selected for the role even before the interviews.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Kitchener, ON

- What was a challenging situation you faced while leading a team?

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Kitchener, ON
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Avidbots (Kitchener, ON)
The whole process took more than more two months. Be expected to not hear anything unless they wanted. !!! The hiring manager firstly reached out for a phone chat. Then I waited for two months without any responses until a contractor HR wanna schedule an on-site interview. On-site is the only option. And I had to accept whatever the schedule they assigned to me otherwise they would ignore all the reschedule emails (I don't live in kitchener area!!!). After the on-site interview there's another taken-home assignment. I wish their out-sourcing HR Krista could know something about the hiring process or what would be the next step, and they would be a bit considerate for candidates who didn't live in the town instead of ignoring the communications.
- On site involved with some standard c++ questions and one question related with random numbers.
- Take home assignment was a spell-checking program using a dict.
