      IT Support Technician Interview

      Feb 26, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Berlin
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Awin (Berlin) in Jan 2018

      Interview

I had two stages of the interview (both face to face in their HQ in Berlin). The first step was an interview with Junior Talent Acquisition Partner and IT Support Manager. They were asking some general questions and telling me about the company and the position. The second interview was more technical, there was a case to solve and it was made to check your skills like effective time planning and work under pressure. It wasn't too hard but very important to do it properly and accurately. The company looks really good and the people too so I had a positive experience! However, the process took about 5 weeks in total so quite long.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What is your plan for the next few years? What do you know about Awin and affiliate marketing? What is your experience? Do you live in Berlin?

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Awin (Berlin) in Oct 2015

      Interview

I got a response from the HR 3 hours after I'd applied. At first I had a skype interview with the HR, a support technician, and the group head. I received questions about my IT and customer support-related experience, my German language skills, and how soon I'd be able to start. A day after I was invited to the second stage interview, which happened 2 weeks later. During the personal interview I needed to present my prioritising, communication, and troubleshooting skills, which I did in additional to more German language checks. The costs for travelling to Berlin and back were reimbursed. I received the final decision of the company the next day.
