Axia Technology Partners interview questions

I applied through a staffing agency. It wasn't a difficult interview by any means. The first interview was with the HR director and the Finance director and they basically just asked me about my experience and qualifications. I then got asked back for a second interview where I met with upper level management and got asked similar questions with additional questions about my personality, to determine cultural fit. We seemed to click really well and I was left with the impression that I was going to get an offer the following Monday. However, they just never got back to the agency. The agency said they contacted them multiple times to find out whether they liked me or not and Axia just never responded. Very unprofessional to have a candidate come in (and take time off work from their current position) for two rounds of interviews and then just never get back to them. I'm not bitter about not getting an offer but the lack of response has left a sour taste in my mouth about this company.
