Applied online and asked to come on site for an interview with Controller. Interview lasted about 1 hour with typical Behavioral based interview questions. Next steps were mentioned. Its been several weeks since the on site interview and no follow up from hiring manager even after I reached out with a thank you note and follow up request. This provides a poor candidate experience. Please update your candidates through the ATS if they are being declined or moving forward.

Interview
Had good first interview with HR via phone and was then invited for in-person interview with hiring manager. While most places were still under Covid protocols, they were somewhat adhering to them. I still felt comfortable with only two people in a large conference room to remove our masks. Had what I thought was a good interview followed by a tour of the offices. That was it. No follow up about not moving forward. I understand not responding to all applicants but once someone meets in person, during a pandemic no less, there should at least be a courtesy call for the rejection. An email at the very least.
