The interview process did not seem legitimate. Was asked to download an app on my cellphone to talk to the hiring manager and type in replies to interview questions. The answers were long and it was difficult to type answers on the phone. The process was also timed and every response from the hiring manager was "good job".

They list salary ranges on their website and then make an offer below the minimum that they list. Didn’t feel like a good fit, but the lowball offer helped me realize that I didn’t want to work here. Good luck! Have a genuine conversation about salary expectations first so you don’t waste time.

Typical run through your resume because the hiring manager sure didn’t look through it previously. Interviewers were not prepared and couldn’t answer questions.

I applied online and had my first HR call within a week.
I still cannot believe that I had to go through 7 rounds of interviews with different department heads. Keep in mind: it was not even a director position but a mid-level role. For each round of interviews, it took weeks to find dates and time slots for them to happen–it was absolutely exhausting. For the last interview, they asked me to prepare a brief where I had to analyze their provided material and suggest improvements. During the presentation, the hiring person took a bunch of notes. After being told how fantastic my skillsets and expertise were, I fully expected an offer. For over a week, I waited for feedback. Not receiving any, I messaged HR–it took them another week to respond with a generic rejection email, not even taking the time to send personalized feedback.
It was an absolute waste of time. The many rounds of interviews for this type of role were absolutely unnecessary.
If you are okay with going through 6-8 interview rounds, preparing presentations/case studies/briefs, and waiting weeks/months before possibly getting hired, then go for it.
