      Human Resources Manager Interview

      Oct 24, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Lansing, MI
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BRP (Lansing, MI) in Aug 2021

      Interview

First interview was with a contract recruiter who asked very few questions and couldn’t answer questions about the company. Second one was with HR who was distracted and dismissive. Interview was on Zoom and she was constantly looking to the side (at someone else?) or down and abruptly ended the interview. Third interview was with a plant manager in Lansing, MI who was nice but wasn’t well versed in how to interview. Both the recruiter and HR went MIA for 3 weeks AFTER 3 interviews! Couldn’t give me the courtesy of a response. I would not have taken a position at this company if offered. After my experience with this company I learned there’s been high turnover in HR because it’s a horrible company to work for, especially HR in Wisconsin. They asked a previous HR person to come back and train the new one and the new one left after a few months. They’re still recruiting! Shocker!!
