Looked for customer service skills, how you dealt with irate customers, how you balanced company policy against the needs and issues of the customer, empathy, problem solving examples, taking responsibility without laying blame on company policy etc.

Describe an example where a customer's issues went against company policy and how you dealt with that situation.
You get a customer calling you wishing to shut down their account due to financial issues - how would you deal with the call and what options (if any) would you offer them?
Straightforward, discuss past positions and related skills and answer the standard questions. Interviewed by the store manager who was excellent at her job. Worked there for about 2 months and then I received a better offer from another company in sales as well.

It went well. I had some test to complete to evaluate my communication and language skills and a general interview to evaluate my customer service skills. I have been introduce from a thirs party.
Standard interview process with call scenarios to see how candidates will react to customer requests. There's also a review of past with past work experience and expectations for current role.
