Four rounds of interviews and a couple of assessments. The first was a culture fit conversation that felt natural and genuinely engaging. This was followed by two tests, numerical and logical, both straightforward and well suited to the role. The third round was with the head of the department, where we had an in-depth discussion about the position and the company. The questions were sharp and relevant, and I felt truly listened to throughout.
The process as a whole was exceptionally well run. I received email updates almost daily, which meant I was never left wondering where things stood. The interviewers were refreshingly candid about their impressions of my profile, which put me at ease rather than on edge. They even took the time to flag their annual leave periods so I would know when to expect a response, a small gesture that spoke volumes.
Ultimately, I did not receive an offer. But what I did receive was something far rarer: a detailed, substantive feedback report outlining my strengths, areas for development, and the specific reasons behind the decision. In a job market where candidates are often left with nothing but silence, Benifex treated me like a person from start to finish. That is not something I take for granted, and it is not something I will forget.
