Bjak interview questions

I was given some fairly standard questions in a short half-hour interview. What followed was an interview task with 9 seperate requests that required full scripts, full unpacking of ideas and campaign propositions. It took me 10 hours to complete. Two weeks later I was given a standard rejection email with no feedback, even though I asked for some - was ignored. Terrible experiene.

After uploading my CV on LinkedIn, I was invited to a Google Chat interview. The person was friendly, and engaged but after a few minutes I quickly realised that there was currently no actual role as advertised. He was talking to other candidates and just speculating on the talent pool available. The role I applied for was advertised as full time, London based and there was a salary attached. It transpired that none of these three things were accurate - I was asked if I was interested in working freelance/as a contractor/full time/part time, so it felt like I could have said anything, there is no London office (they're based in Malaysia) and the role didn't actually begin until Jan 2027 and that was contingent on something fairly significant: The company being founded (it was a start up) didn't actually exist - BJAK are funding it but the launch of this new, as yet unamed company was dependent on them gaining FCA approval. So nothing was concrete. I felt it was disingenious to advertise for a role that doesn't actually exist yet, for a company that has yet to launch. I got the impression that the representative was merely "fishing" for information or trying to get some kind of buy in, into whatever it was they're offering.
