A recruiter acted as a child with limited understanding and you had to demonstrate a class. You are supposed to use a pdf that that supply you with teaching instructions. The instructions tell the teacher to read different things on each page - things that a new English learner would not understand. Yet, you are told to do so. I normally wouldn't say such long sentences that a student would clearly not understand in the context of a class. So, you are torn between following the instructions, and doing teaching well. Lose-lose.
I ended up following the instructions. And of course, the student (recruiter) acted as if they didn't undertand what I was saying. I "passed" the interview, but was offered the lower base pay.
Was this a trick? I don't believe tricking people on interviews. If this is how they treat potential teachers during an interview, how do they treat them when working with them?
