The entire hiring process for this company is awful. First you submit an application, to which I received a very automated reply in response quite some time later asking me to complete an AI interview. So, I sat talking to an AI bot for around 30 minutes after which I got a score. After a while, I was then invited to the second stage which was a long personality test of about 100 questions and a series of skill tests. I scored in the 90th percentile for every single category and for two I scored in the 98th percentile so there wasn’t much room for improvement. I also have years of experience in publishing and yet after all of the above I was rejected with no explanation after hours of tasks and having met absolutely no one. I have never been so disappointed by a company in the field that I love. My recommendation is that they just conduct short interviews for people they’re truly interested in and if they’re really keen to know someone’s personality type them ask them for their Myers Briggs personality which everyone has probably already taken instead of getting them to fill out 100 questions, of which one of the questions was literally ‘Do you like flowers?’. A complete waste of jobseeker time.
