The first interview felt surprisingly conversational. After a quick introduction, they asked me to explain my research in simple terms and pushed on how I validated models and handled uncertainty. There were a few technical questions on statistics and machine learning, plus a short Python-style problem where I had to reason out loud. The last part was more business-oriented: they gave a vague real-world problem and wanted to see how I structured it quantitatively.
