Brand KC interview questions

First interview was a series of basic questions about yourself (three words to describe yourself, are you management material, why did you apply, etc). It was then moved onto what the company is about, basically they sell discounted sports and entertainment packages using underpaid door-to-door sales force, which they pitch as "face-to-face client relationships." It was a bait and switch. I came in for a completely unrelated job, and this is what I was given during the interview.

I applied online and received a call the next day. I was invited to their Overland Park KS office. The lady I spoke with on the phone had stated they were expanding and needed new people for their customer service positions. When I arrived the next day there wasn't anyone at the front desk after a while someone came out and had me fill out a form listing my previous work because they did not have my resume on file even though It was provided online. I was finally called to the back where I had a brief 5 minute "interview". There the script was flipped and the person told me I would have to be outside talking with prospects and selling them their advertising services. After that there would be a follow up interview. I left and informed them I was not interested. These people are dishonest and will tell you it's one thing on their job ad and over the phone but it's really a business to business sales job.
