What’s the best way to have a lack of compensation and incentive conversation in your department? I went above and beyond for years doing extra work, organizations etc and nothing has been reflected in pay. I thought my 5 year was going to finally show something but it did not. I’ve inquired about pay but it’s gotten nowhere.

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Bridgecrest (Fort Worth, TX) in Dec 2018

Interview

I applied 12-12 and was contacted 12-18 for a phone screen with a recruiter. I interviewed on 12-20 and the recruiter got back with me on 12-21. The actual interview for this position is with their finance company Bridgecrest. I did not receive an offer, however, I am very impressed with the value Bridgecrest places on their customers. The atmosphere was full of energy and while waiting for my interview I had a nice conversation with one of the employees at the front desk. He had very positive things to say about Bridgecrest. Bridgecrest seems to be a strong company with a lot of growth and opportunties to promote.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Bridgecrest (Fort Worth, TX) in Nov 2018

Interview

Interview was about 45 min long. I interviewed with two persons whose tenure with the company were less than a year. They did not seem to know what they were doing. They focused more on my hobbies outside of work than my experience and skill set listed in my resume. Asked very repetitive questions and were not actively engaged in the interview. After the interview, they walked away for about 10 minutes. Then one manager returned and told me you are a " recruiter " you should know was coming next. " We'll call you." After that I never received a call or message until 4 weeks later. Glad I dodged the bullet! They're hours are terrible and as seen by the initial interview so is there management. You are forced to work every other Saturday and close two days and open the other 3. Oh and that rotates! Also, do not get too comfortable. Management does not like when candidates are confident and articulate.

I have my 1st in person interview soon. Besides doing my homework on the company and position and making sure I look professional what else do I need? It is for a large, professional insurance company. I used to print a copy of my resume on a nice, thicker paper as well as a list of references and put them in a folder and leave it with the interviewer. Is this dumb? Everything is electronic now and I am worried about getting the position at all and I don't want to come off as old fashioned.

I have been at my current position for 7 years 8 months and am really burned out struggling as movement within my division is or seems to me to next to impossible.. I have started looking and a while back interviewed w a manager I know wanted to hire me but then upper decided they didn’t want a remote .. I get that. So she has been emailing me about open positions and checking in provided a referral to a position in an adjacent department and I have interviewed, they went ahead and scheduled
