I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Bridgewater Associates in Nov 2021
Interview
Interview process took forever and consisted of phone screens and case studies. They literally did not ask about me or my background and what I was interested in/what my skills were. I did two case studies which were fairly basic they just want you to explain how you got to your answers. I presented the case study to an associate in the second interview and he asked me questions about it. Once again it was just case study material and did not care about who I was, why I was applying, my past experience, or what my skills were. Overall the process what unconventional not necessary bad but I would have liked to at least been asked about my background.
Passed screening and case study, but rejected after the cultural fit round, because somehow I'm not a cultural fit, not sure what that means. Through out the process they talked about how much they value feedback but when asked for feedback was ghosted.
