I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Brightspot (Reston, VA) in Oct 2013
Interview
Met with several project managers and software engineers to discuss my background, skills, and qualifications. I had the opportunity to ask questions to learn about the current projects and culture. After being hired, I never worked with a single person I met during the interviews.
Pretty laid back, same questions from glassdoor in the initial interview, onsite interview was to make an article webpage that allows comments. I added CSS to animate on scroll, performance was great. Tried to go above and beyond by implementing an additional commment thread feature and introduced a bug in the comment liking logic.

The office is in a great location. The interview process will be very long so be prepared. You have to talk with different groups and have a lunch talk in their office. The interviewers are all nice and professional. The questions are not hard.

Interview
Went to my college's career fair and talked to a recruiter about the projects and experiences on my resume. That night, they asked me to come in the next day for a 30 minute interview. There were two of them, and they asked me about my background and generally tried to suss out whether I'd be a good fit for most of it. At the end, there were a few technical questions.
