I completed three rounds of interviews. Two of the interviewers were experienced professionals who had been with the company for a significant amount of time, and the discussions with them were engaging and enjoyable. Although I wasn’t entirely certain about pursuing a managerial role at this stage, I appreciated the conversations.
However, one round was more challenging; it was a technical discussion with an interviewer who recently joined the company. During the conversation, there was a difference in perspectives on microfrontend architectures. While I discussed iframe-based microfrontends as a valid approach, the interviewer strongly believed that module-based microfrontends were the only legitimate method, :) . This difference in views set the wrong tone for the discussion and impacted the overall outcome.
Unfortunately, his feedback ultimately contributed to my rejection.
Additionally, the package offered was below market standards, which made the opportunity less appealing overall.
The recruiters were proactive and communicative, providing timely feedback throughout the process, which I truly appreciated.
