Straightforward process. Recruiter contacted me and was excited. Said that I was a top candidate. Interviewed with VP of HR. Went well. Again same feedback. Interviewed with hiring manager and it was ok, a bit awkward. Asked generic questions like what was the last book you read. They then scheduled a call to see if I would be interested in a lower level position reporting into whomever they hired. Never provided me with a job description or salary range and never followed up. At first I was excited that they wanted to create something for me and then I realized what a slap in the face it was to say several people saw me as their top candidate and then switch to something else. Very odd....
