I interviewed with the principal of the company, and it started out pretty professionally. That was until the owner started trash talking the previous employee who filled-in the position I was applying for. They were complaining about an employee that did not know how to ask questions, either asked too many questions, or did not come in early enough, despite the long commute. It was at that moment that I realized that this company was not a good fit for me and my career. I would never work for someone who disparages previous employees, over non-issues or someone who is overall non-approachable.
