I was greeted very warmly and felt very comfortable during entire interview. The interviewer asked questions about me and what my career goals were and seemed very interested in the job being a good fit for me as well as for them. She then very clearly explained the job expectations and wanted to know my experience with Excel, Salesforce and Google Drive. She answered all questions I had at the end and gave me a timeline of when I should expect to hear back about a job offer.
- What is your experience using Excel, Salesforce, and Google Drive?

I'm emailed my resume after seeing their job posting on Craigslist. I was skeptical as to if they were a legitimate company. I was contacted through email to set up an interview a week later. After I answered their first question, they immediately offered to interview me for an internship instead. I got the feeling they didn't want me for the position right of the bat, so they made me feel as if I didn't have any sort of research experience. I currently had a job in research prior to the interview, and was not about to take an underpaid part time internship. The interview was quite unwelcoming.

The interview process really varies based on the actual job in question. Being a recruiter you just need CSR, HR or inbound/outbound sales experience. They often look for contract to full time hire to see if recruiters can make the grade and grasp the market research field. But working as a consultant or project management requires more subject matter expertise so I found the interviewing process more involved. Overall the interview process was straight forward and they were responsive in giving me updates of where i was in the process. The first part was a 30 min phone interview. i also had to answer a case study question and had to provide writing sample showing analytical thinking. The third part involved a skype video interview with the CEO and a face to face with another manager at their original office location in downtown Sac--since relocated to Roseville.
- questions about awareness of research methodologies, optimal ways to attract focus group participants, ways to ensure respondents show up for studies, best ways to create slides for a presentation and i had to show my excel spreadsheet skills by formatting a grid.

There wasn't an official interview given. Everything was done over the telephone in a cryptic, non-informative, didn't think it was a real job kind of way. I honestly had no idea when I was supposed to start working. I had a vague idea where the company was located through my own research. Details were sketchy about times and dates, dress code, future employment opportunities. I was left with an anxious feeling after the 5 minute phone call.
- The only question I was asked was "are you available next week?".
