    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at CDM (New York, NY) in September 2015.

    Interview

I talked to the senoir specialist as well as one of the designers on the team. The process felt very relaxed and informal, even though all we talked about was subject matter. They were not afraid to give feedback to my work and were overall very welcoming and curious to learn about me while being willing to inform me as much about them as well.

    Vice President, AGS Interview

Anonymous Employee in New York, NY

    Neutral Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at CDM (New York, NY) in March 2015.

    Interview

It was too fast! In my opinion, when you meet with HR and all the hiring managers within a week and are offered the job on Friday (with a decision needed on Monday); they just need a warm body and you shouldn't take the job. Unless you're desperate. I took it and it was one of those "easy come, easy go" situations.
Beware if your experience is similar. It means they are desperate and it will likely end badly.

Frontend Developer and Content Manager Interview

Anonymous Employee in New York, NY
    Accepted Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CDM (New York, NY) in September 2014.

    Interview

Got a first contact and was told would receive a call back from an HR manager. Nothing happened. Got in touch with the person who contacted me about the opportunity and following that I received a phone call by the department head. After a brief chat about my past and recent experience I was told I would be more a fit for a design position, which completely ignored my web/email front end development as well as previous flash development skills which in all likelihood was a decision based on some sort of gut feeling rather than actual knowledge and interest to select a candidate. I was told a design department HR manager would contact me about possible openings, but received only an email with no actual follow up. Once again got in touch with the first person who contacted me about helping out on an ongoing project who invited me to come in and start working on that project. As it turns out I ended up being the best candidate for that job, so much so that eventually even the person with whom I had my initial phone interview, not only acknowledged me for doing a good job but shared words of appreciation and kudos with other members of the extended team

    Interview

Spotty and inconsistent- like they were too busy to follow up or keep pursuing what they were looking for. I learned the person in charge of the process left soon after - which explains a few of the missed connections and loose ends
