I was contacted by a recruiter for a position at a company that is a client of theirs. I proceeded to do a phone screen with a second recruiter. When I asked questions about their client company's very poor Glassdoor reviews, the second recruiter said it was unprofessional for me to ask such questions. She continued to berate me over being "unprofessional." I refused to continue forward, as her screed about unprofessionalism said more about her than myself. Allowing someone so unprofessional to represent me to a prospective employer would likely damage my brand. I will also not even dignify any further messages from CLA recruiters with a response. Also, I have asked similar questions about poor reviews to other recruiters at other companies. Nobody has ever responded in such an abusive manner as this recruiter at CLA.
