      Bank Teller Interview

      Jan 8, 2026
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Myrtle Beach, SC
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I interviewed at CNB (Myrtle Beach, SC)

      Interview

I had a person to person interview after filling out an application. I was then told during the interview that in order for them to move forward, I would have to complete an assessment. If I did not pass, I would not move forward. They stick to their guns and live by the assessment. I have been out of school a very long time and have many years of work experience. The assessment was difficult. It was timed. It had nothing to do with banking and Math. It seemed to be based on more logic and personality. I feel they should have their candidate do the assessment first to see if they want to move forward with a person to person interview and not waste people's time if they do not meet their assessment standards.
