Interview
The PAL program focuses on your want to help other students. The ability to problem solve interpersonal conflicts is a must, as there may be times that students do not get along and come to you for help. the interview consists of a few "what would you do" questions where they give you a scenario and you have to answer. There may be a conflict between students, a failing student, a bad home-life, and you need to tactfully explain how you would handle the situation. Remember you are not a tutor, and that you instead are leading students to the answer using the PAL method. Be able to hold your position as a leader and peer to your students simultaneously, which is the hardest part, and you will do fine on these questions.
