      Interview

I just came here to echo what most developers will likely run into when interviewing for the front-end software engineering role. In all honesty, I wish I could take the time I spent on the take-home project back! They give you about an hour to create an entire landing page that they expect to be an exact replica (in their words, "by pixel") of the file they provide you. As are most take-home projects, the instructions are so vague that most design decisions will be left to your own interpretation. You can imagine how difficult it is to complete an entire landing page with little to no clarification on the important details. Let's just say, if you're a little newer to development like I am, it will ABSOLUTELY take longer than an hour, but don't worry, they set up a timer to ensure you know the clock is ticking. But at least they left a little note mentioning "it would not hurt your chances if you go a little over the time limit." To make matters worse, they expect you to create a video "selling yourself" on why you deserve the position. By the time I had finished the landing page, I was so ticked off by the entire process that I almost didn't submit the video, but somehow, I motivated myself to do so. It's been over a couple of months and guess what?! No response. Radio silent. No feedback, no rejection. A word of advice to CT: if you are going to ask this much from your candidates, at least put a little effort into the interview process. A word of advice to potential candidates: don't waste your time unless you think you can create a landing page from scratch in an hour. Don't forget it needs to be "pixel perfect."

      Interview

It's a 4 hour assessment before you even talk to a single person. Also, the amount of fake reviews here are crazy. At least do some research on what a normal human sounds like.

      Interview

Company is a complete scam! Do not engage with the interview process. Part of the interview is to create a website based on a photoshop image. This isn't a generic website building test, this is you doing the work for their agency and building websites for clients. At the very least, they are using this code to implement into the websites for their clients. There is no job, you are free labor under the guise of a job offer. At no point in the interview process will you speak to a human face to face at all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
