Interview
Had in initial phone interview via Zoom followed by an on-site interview a week later. Was interviewed by the head of the research department and an engineer during the phone interview. For the on-site, was interviewed by an engineer and a project manager.

Question 1
At the on-site interview, was asked to explain a chunk of Python code for the first question. The second question was to write pseudo-code for a doubly-linked list. For the third question, was asked a generic design question for embedded system integration.
Couple of interviews, first with hiring manager and then with the team. Process was okay, but after interview they said they are not hiring anyone because person who was already working in that position got their visa extension.

Interview
First round interview was on-site and was tested on object-oriented material and problem solving approach. The second round was a take home coding assignment that tested knowledge on some basic algorithms and database queries.
