The interview process was extremely lengthy, consisting of more than five interviews over the course of two months. Everything proceeded smoothly until the end, when the VP of HR engaged in unethical actions during the offer process. For instance, they didn't inquire about any past background information but judged candidates on incidents from over 20 years ago, without providing an opportunity to dispute or clarify the issues. In my case, they demanded that I explain expunged misdemeanors. Additionally, the VP of HR shared these details with the Plant Manager, a person not authorized to access HR background information, before discussing them with me. During my interview, it was revealed that the VP had previously done the same with a supervisor who had been extending an offer, even going so far as to "Google" the matter, which was also over 20 years old. The VP also gave the Plant Manager the option to do the same, ensuring he was aware of the individual's past from over two decades ago.
