Canopy Lead Android Developer interview questions

They asked me a bunch of questions about how they should run mobile. I said that I should charge them a consulting fee. I was only partially joking. After me asking questions they told the position WAS NOT REAL. It was fake to pull in more candidates for their android developer positions. In a followup email after being asked to meet with their VP, I told them that trust was important thing for me and I withdrew my name. If they are going to be dishonest about the position then how can I trust them? Make sure to ASK QUESTIONS.
