CapWest Home Loans interview questions

Applied through the company's website and received a call the same day. After the phone interview, a second, in person interview was scheduled. This took place at the 160th Street location, and consisted of the recruitment specialist, sales manager, and AVP-Purchase division manager. It was not intimidating, and was light hearted overall. A more detailed overview of the business process and job were given. The job sounds very true to what they advertised on the job posting, and they reiterated that it is a phone based job, not an in-person reaction. Lots of questions regarding making relationships, why I wanted to work in the mortgage industry, and what motivated me to pursue a sales job. It was a 30 minute interview, and I was told that the VP may or may not call me to do another phone interview (as it is a phone based job, the company wants to make sure you are good on the phone). Overall, a good interview experience, not too intimidating. Update: Had the phone interview with the VP of production. He asked for my elevator speech, and when I mentioned my past work experience, he used that to have me sell him on the services that company provides. I passed the "sell over the phone" test, and was told that I made a great impression on the three interviewers from the first interview, and on the VP himself. I was then told that the recruiter would call me later in the week to get information for the background check and to send a formal offer. I will definitely be accepting!
