The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capgemini Invent
Interview
I completed the Application Form; the (Pre-recorded) Video Interview; the Briefing Call - which all went smoothly. The Online Assessment Centre, which involves their company presentation, group exercise, individual interview and Q/A with trainee. This was probably one of the worst ACs I've ever attended. It was very unorganised and poorly managed. All the candidates were online at 8:30 in the morning, ready to start. However, we ended up waiting half an hour as the recruiters/interviewers were all late. Due to them being late, the whole AC ended up being rushed - we were only given 5 minute breaks between these long sessions. Not a lot of time to do much - I didn't manage to eat properly till after the AC ended. They struggled to use 'Break-Out Groups' on Teams - which wasted a lot more time on their end and further resulted in the group exercise being rushed! Each candidate is given a proposal to discuss with the team and debate which one you will present to the company spectators. We were suppose to have 30 minutes to debate, research and prepare for the group presentation. We were cut down to 20 minutes by the recruiters, which overall affected our performance and ability to discuss as a team. The other candidates were not happy with this outcome either. The individual interview was not very pleasant at all, and was structured very differently than others - no chit chat just straight to it. The interviewer I got was not attentive and looked so uninterested the whole time. The questions was mainly strengths-based with a few situational questions. First impressions matter Capgemini, do better!
