Roughly five interviews with the recruiting director, managing directors and CEO, each very friendly environment. They start with a phone call, followed by one on ones, and finally the CEO meeting. The CEO meeting was probably the most nerve racking but Scot turned out to be a very pleasant guy, not what you would expect from such a large finance company. So don't worry, if you have the drive to make a career out of this, the team will see that and most times give an opportunity.

Contacted directly by the (singular) staffing rep via email with salary, benefits, retirement incentives briefly listed. We exchanged 10+ emails, in which we set phone appointment times, but it was a drawn out process. Sometimes I simply wouldn't receive a call, and other times, he would call hours after the agreed upon time. This was a definite precursor to the priority of integrity/character/organization/details within that office Over a month later, we finally speak on the phone. I asked some questions, but it was mostly the rep discussing company history, etc. I then met with the CEO for about 1 hour (very casual conversation and a lot about his background). Later, I was invited back to meet with the Sales Manager and the Training Coordinator. Each interview with them took about an hour each, and I was given papers to complete for background checks, employment history, etc. Again, it was very casual. My time with the Sales Manager was more like a corporate interview, and the trainer just went over the software program. I received an email afterwards asking if I would like to set up the final interview with the CEO. We met for another hour - he said I had the position if I wanted it, gave me a folder with some projected salary numbers, and invited my spouse to meet with him before I made any final decisions on the offer, so I thanked him and said I would let him know in a few days. As promised, I sent an email acknowledging it would be about a week before I knew my spouse's schedule (because 2 other managers were out on vacation) but that I was excited to start the position (interviews and papers had Jan. 2015 as start date). I was told it was not a problem; so, once I knew availability, I followed-up with an email and provided a couple of days/times my spouse and I could drive to their office (about 40-60 minutes away) for the CEO "spouse visit." The company calls this entire process the beginning of the dating phase. We met with the CEO shortly before Christmas and I was told I would receive an invitation for the company Christmas party; all was well.
