Interview
The hiring and interview process was initially somewhat unconventional for a C-suite position, with the first interview being an online interview through jobvite. However, once past the online interview, the process became more personal and I have to give the internal hiring director kudos for timely and professional communication and follow up. I did not make the short list of candidates, but was left with a positive impression of the company.

Interview
I applied via LinkedIn. After an immediate auto-response confirming my application, I have got got an initial response after about month and a half: an e-mail inviting me for a video interview. I responded with my availability. After another week of delay an HR person explained that this interview is not with a person, but using Jobvite's automated facility that allows the company to ask series of questions in a sequence recording the applicant's answers. The wording on the original invitation was not clear on that point.
The "interview" itself was sub-standard, poorly structured and included on purpose nonsense questions such as how would you make a perfect tuna sandwich. This approach speaks volumes about the company's attitude towards the applicants.

Interview
Once applied I received an email, about a month after, for a video interview via jobvite. Automated interview with video was the first experience in my life and I have enjoyed it a lot. Some weeks later I had another email for a one2one interview with the head of talent acquisition. The interview was very detailed. After a month I was informed that I was not selected for the next round as they have preferred candidates with industry experience :(
