Carrentals.com interview questions

Expedia recruiter contacted via phone. It was not a professional interview as recruiter was pushing to get technical answers instead of understanding the personality and doing background check. I felt like someone who has no idea about the job was running the interview. I suggest them to include hiring manager if they will ask about the job itself. I was rejected 2 days after the interview - the reason might be that the hiring manager was looking for a native English speaker but HR doesn't review the CV before running the interview? Very unprofessional for such a big company.

Did online research to figure out who the manager the position I was applying for reported to. Then more online research to determine the direct contact for that manager. Submitted application directly to management email. Used cover letter and CV as attachments. Was email back to setup an in-person meeting (I was a local applicant). One interview meeting with manager. Was hired three days later.
