I applied online. I interviewed at Castle Trust Bank
Interview
It is disappointing to see how they make out so many people apply for a role that they are too lazy to give feedback.
If the tables were turned they would expect someone to give them feedback. It is evident so much of the recruitment process has become automated. It is clear there is no human engagement involved. It makes the process feel dissatisfying.
Recruitment should be about connection, fairness and recognising potential not just algorithms filtering people out. It’s discouraging to know that people are being paid for a process that seems entirely driven by automation. What about transferable skills!

Interview
The worst interview experience as the company seems not to know what they are doing. The process was unduly prolonged with different stages of fragmented interview. Lack of cohesion between the hiring manager, the interviews led to many levels of frustration
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Castle Trust Bank (Basingstoke, England) in Dec 2021
Interview
Very detailed as I got a good sense of ways of working and where they were experiencing problems and what they wanted to achieve in the next few years and how they envisaged it.
