Questions included what you know about the CPP (e.g., training facilities, training bond), why you want to join the programme, why you want to be a pilot. Wasn't very technical.

Interview
The HR interviewer was really rude and made the interview like an interrogation. I've had many interviews before and I must say this has to be the worst experience I've ever had. If you show any sign of weakness, she will magnify that problem unreasonably. Basically, the HR only wants an egotistic and 'unflawed' candidate, no wonder why they are having cadets doing those crazy maneuvers shown in the news, So if you want the offer, make sure to act like you are a PERFECT person. If you show any weaknesses, she will ask you "What if this happens during the time of your cadet training?", and you are put into this situation where no matter how you answer it, she's gonna be dissatisfied.
I am not sure if every HR interviewer is like this, but if you are being interrogated by her, just make sure to act like a narcissist then you will be more than fine.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Cathay Pacific (Hong Kong)
Interview
2 people from HR, one asked about only interest and passion related questions. Whereas, the other only about cadet pilot programme related questions.
Not sure about their responses but one thing is be sure to not drift away too much or over share, as they had to tell me time twice about “now coming back to the main question” and mostly repeated sentence was “be specific”
