Interview process was interesting, considering it was at their fiscal year in around July. I applied directly on their website, about two weeks later, received a message asking to schedule a phone interview. Spoke with an HR person about past qualifications stated on my resume and asked salary ranges.
Then radio silence for about a month. Then they sent me a message asking to do an in person interview. I interviewed with the hiring manager for an hour or so. He had my resume in hand and several things highlighted to discuss. The main points he wanted to identify were, attention to detail, track record of system improvement, and enthusiasm. He then had me meet with the team and him not in the room. I spoke with the team for about a half and hour and got to ask as many questions as I wanted about the day to day.
Then about a week later, I got a follow up interview request. It was to be an hour and a half interview with the CFO, the Controller, and the Director of Sales. The hiring manager briefed me upon inquiring what I should be prepared to talk about with each of them.
The most "difficult" interviewer was the CFO, he is very smart, and wants to see ambition. The controller, was a nice guy to talk to and he will ask you some accounting questions. The sales director will ask you about your customer service mentality, organizational structure, and communication style. These interviews ended up going for 2.5 hours instead of the original scheduled time.
About a week to two weeks later, I followed up with my HR contact. The hiring manager shortly called and offered me the position.
