I applied online. I interviewed at CertaPro Painters (Warwick, RI) in Feb 2026
Interview
I was contacted via email by a recruiter for CertaPro, requesting to schedule a phone interview. This was on a Thursday and the only spot they had open was for the next day at 4 PM. With very short notice, I asked if was possible to schedule a timeframe for next week. The recruiter and I both agreed on next Tuesday at 9 AM. Perfect!
Over the weekend, I had received multiple emails from CertaPro asking why I had not scheduled an interview yet, and to click the link provided to pick a time. When I had did so, there were no spots left. Confused, I replied back on Monday morning, asking if our Tuesday at 9 AM meeting was still happening.
The recruiter then decided our phone interview should be Monday morning instead of Tuesday morning. This caught me totally off guard. I was awoken by CertaPro calling and asking to speak with me, unaware they had just changed the interview time. I was not prepared at all. My time as an applicant was disregarded heavily, which had me feeling frustrated with CertaPro.
